Factory cartridge: Ortofon Quintet Red

This moving-coil cartridge does not have a user-replaceable stylus in the database. Retipping, manufacturer exchange or cartridge replacement is normally required.

Entry MC (stock on Pro-Ject X2 B, Classic EVO). MC styli are NOT user-replaceable: a worn or damaged Quintet goes through Ortofon's exchange service (trade-in credit toward a new MC) or a third-party retip. Budget the full cartridge, not a stylus, at replacement time.
