A retro-styled deck in the mould of the classic 1970s Linn/Thorens look — wooden frame plinth, floating sub-chassis feel, thoroughly modern engineering underneath.
Model history: The Classic EVO merges and replaces the original 2016 The Classic and The Classic SB SuperPack, carrying over the carbon/aluminium tonearm and AC motor but adding a diamond-cut aluminium sub-platter and electronic 33/45rpm switching.

Who it suits
Best suited to: a first serious turntable for an existing or planned amp-and-speakers setup. Less ideal for: plugging straight into passive speakers with no amp — check the built-in phono stage row above, and note most hi-fi decks still need external amplification.
