About RecordPlayer USA
RecordPlayer USA is an independent reference for record players sold, or formerly sold, in the United States. It catalogues 275 turntables from 62 brands, from low-cost all-in-one players to high-end decks and vintage models.
Where the data comes from
Specifications for current models are compiled from manufacturers’ websites, and product pages link to the cited official source when one is available. Vintage entries use manufacturer archives and established historical references, with typical US second-hand prices as a guide only. The current dataset was compiled July 2026.
How retailer links work
Product pages list US retailers associated with each brand and link to retailer searches for the model. Those static links may contain configured affiliate tags. Current-model pages can also load live in-stock offers supplied by Redbrain. Clean merchant URLs are the default; optional tracking mode is disclosed in the offer section and uses sponsored link attributes. Affiliate status does not affect inclusion or ordering.
Prices
Reference values use US list or typical street prices for current models and approximate used prices for vintage or discontinued models. Redbrain offer prices and stock are fetched separately when available and can change between lookup and purchase; confirm them on the retailer site.
Scope
This is a specifications and price database, not a hands-on review site. Comparison notes and buying guidance are derived from documented features such as drive type, speed support, cartridge, phono stage and connectivity.
Common questions
Is RecordPlayer USA affiliated with any turntable brand or retailer?
We have no relationship with any manufacturer. Static retailer links may contain configured affiliate tags. Live offers, when available, are supplied by Redbrain; clean merchant URLs are the default, while optional tracking mode is disclosed and marks links as sponsored. Affiliate status never affects inclusion, ordering or the facts shown.
Does anyone actually listen to or review these turntables?
No. This is a specifications and pricing database, not a hands-on review site. Practical notes are reasoned from documented specifications and drive mechanics, not listening impressions.
What should I do if a price or specification looks wrong?
Manufacturers change prices and specifications without notice. The reference specification and price database is dated; the separate Redbrain section can show current offer price and stock but is not a guarantee of availability. Current-model pages link to the manufacturer source for cross-checking before purchase.
