Designed by Touraj Moghaddam (founder of Roksan), the DG-1 'Dynamic Groove' brings Vertere's high-end thinking to a (relatively) accessible plug-and-play deck.

Model history: The DG-1 S is Vertere's confirmed successor to the original DG-1, keeping the same core design but adding an azimuth-adjustment counterweight screw on the tonearm, a higher-tolerance polished main bearing spindle, and new motor-drive software with a three-step torque/noise adjustment.

Who it suits
Best suited to: an established system where the amp, speakers and room can resolve what this deck retrieves from the groove. Less ideal for: a first turntable — the same budget goes much further spent on mid-range separates first.
