The TD 150's successor kept the suspended sub-chassis and belt drive but added a better TP-16 arm and improved styling, running through Mk II, Super and 'S' variants into the late 1980s. Hundreds of thousands were sold, making it the definitive affordable audiophile deck of the 1970s.
One of the best-known suspended-subchassis turntables, hugely supported today by mods, kits and specialist restorers.
