The T-line updated: a real glass platter and CNC-cut plinth with no plastic parts in the audio path, at a price that undercuts most rivals with those materials.
Glass platter and zero-plastics build at a plastic-deck price.
Model history: The T1 EVO updates Pro-Ject's entry-level T1 (launched 2019), keeping the same tempered-glass platter and one-piece aluminium tonearm but adding electronic speed switching, a larger sub-platter shared with the Debut range, and an upgraded Ortofon OM10 cartridge in place of the OM5e.

Who it suits
Best suited to: a first turntable for casual, low-effort listening. Less ideal for: buyers needing a particular cartridge mount or upgrade path without checking the model-specific specifications.
Compatibility and setup
- Manual operation: expect to cue the record yourself. Check the exact manual for any separate end-of-side auto-lift or stop feature.
Good to know
- No built-in phono stage — use an amplifier with a phono input or add a separate phono preamplifier.
