Model history: The Stylo II is GPO's update to its original Stylo, the brand's first vinyl player, adding variable pitch control and a rubberised matte finish over the original design.

Who it suits
Best suited to: listening with zero extra equipment — the speakers are built in. Less ideal for: anyone who cares about sound quality — the built-in speakers limit every deck in this category more than the turntable mechanism does.

- Manual operation: you cue and lift the tonearm by hand at the start and end of each side — there’s no auto-return or auto-lift.
