Denon DJ's flagship turntable: very high torque, adjustable feedback-resistant chassis and RGB platter lighting, built for the Prime performance ecosystem.
Checked against the manufacturer’s site: 2026-07
Who it suits
Best suited to: mixing, scratching and beatmatching — the torque and start-up speed exist for that job. Less ideal for: a quiet, vibration-isolated deck for critical home listening — belt-drive hi-fi decks are built for that instead.
Compatibility and setup
- For DJ use, check the mixer input and cartridge requirements. Home listening is also possible with suitable amplification; use the listed phono-stage specification to choose the input.
- Manual operation: expect to cue the record yourself. Check the exact manual for any separate end-of-side auto-lift or stop feature.
Good to know
- No built-in phono stage — use an amplifier with a phono input or add a separate phono preamplifier.
- Sold without a cartridge fitted — budget for a compatible cartridge and setup before first use.
