A fully-automatic entry-level deck: a fully-automatic belt-drive deck with a built-in switchable phono stage, so it works with any amp or powered speaker out of the box. The cartridge is integrated but the stylus is replaceable.
Audio-Technica's long-running fully-automatic entry model — one of the brand's lowest-priced current decks.
Model history: Replaces the original AT-LP60 (2013 onward): the X generation carries an improved tonearm base/headshell (reduced ~25Hz resonance, easier finger-lift) and moved the AC/DC power conversion to an external adapter for a quieter signal, while keeping the same automatic operation and cartridge/stylus.

Who it suits
Best suited to: a first turntable for casual, low-effort listening. Less ideal for: an existing hi-fi system where you want to hear more detail — the fixed cartridge and light tonearm are the limiting factors there.
Compatibility and setup
