A fully-automatic belt-drive deck a clear class above the LP60X: hydraulically damped arm lift, detachable headshell, VM95 cartridge and Bluetooth.
Model history: Successor to the AT-LP3, announced by Audio-Technica as an update adding Bluetooth (aptX Adaptive/aptX) wireless streaming, the AT-VM95C cartridge, a detachable RCA output cable, and an external AC adapter for quieter power.

Who it suits
Best suited to: a first turntable for casual, low-effort listening. Less ideal for: an existing hi-fi system where you want to hear more detail — the fixed cartridge and light tonearm are the limiting factors there.
Good to know
- Has a built-in phono stage, so it can feed a normal line input on an amplifier or powered speakers without a separate phono box.
- Can transmit over Bluetooth as well as a wired output. A wired connection avoids Bluetooth codec compression.
