Rega Carbon — cartridge and replacement stylus
Stock on Planar 1/1 Plus/2 (and RP1). Audio-Technica AT3600-derived, so the ATN3600L stylus (and its ATN3600LE elliptical upgrade) fits alongside Rega's own $50 Carbon stylus. Only Rega cartridge with a user-replaceable stylus. Rega Nd3 (~$325) is the factory step-up cartridge for Planar 1/2.
Rega cites approximately 400 hours of stylus life. Actual service life varies with tracking force, record condition, cleaning and use.
